22.1     Creating a poll

This is NOT the latest copy of this book; click here for the latest version.

"Content is king" goes the old web adage, confirming that keeping your site up to date is the best way to attract people to visit. However, how can you tell whether your content is what your visitors want? Using an online poll you can give your visitors the chance to pick one of several answers to a question you pose, then watch the results roll in.

Creating a poll is about as easy as it comes when you are talking about database projects, which is why we're starting here. In order to keep the required skill level low, we're going to be creating two types of poll - one easy, one harder, and one even harder. Read on!
